His background is in finance, renewable energy, seafood and government service. He was a MD at Landsvirkjun Iceland largest renewable energy company, MD of Íslandsbanki/Glitnir, Glacier Partners where he lead development and a US$ 1.5 billion portfolio in sustainable energy and seafood in three continents, the CEO of Icelandic Group a €600 million seafood company, and a MD of Corporate Finance in Kvika before founding MAR Advisors. From 1997-2005 Magnus served as a Consul General for Iceland in New York and Deputy Chief of Mission in the Embassy of Iceland in Beijing. Magnus has served as a board member in private and public organizations such as Iceland Seafood International (ISI), HS Orka, Farice, American Scandinavian Foundation & Sena. He has an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and B.Sc in Banking & Finance from SNU

Background in investment banking and renewable energy. Before joining MAR Advisors Rosant was a project manager in Corporate finance at Kvika bank and a project manager at Landsvirkjun the largest renewable energy company in Iceland. Prior to joining Landsvirkjun he held various position for Islandsbanki and its predecessors for 15 years where he was involved in number of transactions in Europe, America and China in the seafood and energy sector. Rósant has a long investment banking experience in private equity, financial structuring and advisory and has served on the board of several companies. Rósant has a degree in Business from the University of Iceland.
