Ívar joined MAR Advisors as an Associate in 2026 from PwC, where he worked in corporate finance advisory, gaining experience across business valuations, M&A, due diligence, financial planning and analysis. Prior to PwC, he worked in corporate and investment banking at Arion Bank.

He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Iceland, a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Reykjavík University and has completed the Icelandic securities licensing exam. He is fluent in Icelandic and English.
