Jørgen is a Norwegian seafood industry specialist, project developer, entrepreneur, and investor.  He has 45 years international business experience from oil & gas sectors (25 years) and from 2004 onwards from the global seafood industry. He is the owner of Contango AS in Oslo, providing project development and corporate finance advisory services to selective clients within the global seafood sector. 

Over the past 20 years, Jorgen has developed strong seafood industry knowledge, market insights and business network. He is the founder and former managing director of the world’s largest seafood conference, North Atlantic Seafood Forum in Bergen, and co-founder of Global Shrimp Forum in Utrecht and Iceland Aquaculture and Ocean Forum in Iceland.  For 10 years he was a member of Pareto Securities seafood corporate finance team in Oslo, engaging in multiple corporate finance and M&A transactions.

Jørgen holds an MSc in Business Administration from Oslo Business School, Norway, and an MBA from University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA.
