Tim has more than 40 years of experience in banking and finance. He served as Executive Director, International Lending for Íslandsbanki where he led the bank's international lending business in North America from 2013 - 2022. Previously, he worked for Glitnir Bank as the senior credit officer responsible for the bank's corporate credit portfolio outside of Europe and the Nordic countries. In these roles, Tim financed many of the largest seafood companies in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to moving to Iceland in 2005, Tim worked for Bank of America in a number of corporate banking and risk management roles.

Tim holds a B.S. in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from Emory University where he was a Robert W. Woodruff Fellow in Graduate Business Administration. He has served on the Board of Directors of various organizations, including the Icelandic Fulbright Commission, First Coast YMCA and Junior Achievement of Jacksonville.
