Mr. Pérez has over 30 years experience in financing, fishing and aquaculture as a board member, partner and executive, both in Chile and abroad.

During the ISA crisis in Chilean salmon farming, Mr. Pérez was a special representative for the banks with AquaChile and then a board member from 2010-12.

He was CEO of the salmon farming and whitefish processing company Congelados del Pacifico S.A. in Chile from 1993 to 2008. Before that, he was Deputy Managing Director of Pacific Protein S.A. and the General Manager of Pacific Fisheries S.A.

Mr. Perez is currently partner at Equitas Capital, an investment firm in Santiago, Chile, while holding various board positions in environmental and seafood related activities.

Mr. Perez holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Chile. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
